Burgundy
Burgundy (French: Bourgogne or vin de Bourgogne) is home to some of the most exclusive wines in the world. However the region predominantly only produces two varieties – Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Burgundy is located in eastern France and these world famous vines fill the slopes and valleys of the Saône, a tributary of the Rhône. Most domaines only produce small quantities, which goes some way to explain their lofty reputation and scarcity. There are too many world-famous wines to mention but some include Domaine de la Romanee Conti (DRC), Armand Rousseau, Roumier, Henri Jayer, Leroy, Comte de Vogue, Meo-Camuzet, Dujac for the reds and Ramonet, Coche-Dury, Leflaive, Arnaud Ente, Raveneau for whites,
