Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 86
The 2016 Moulin de Duhart is a blend of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers light brambly black fruit on the nose tinged with undergrowth aromas, nicely defined if not powerful. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, moderate depth with a touch of coarseness on the entry, but adorned with attractive tobacco and graphite notes on the finish. Probably an early-drinking Deuxieme Vin, this should drink nicely almost from bottling. [Neal Martin, 28/09/2017]
