The Macallan Archival Series: Folios 1–8 Full Set

All eight folios released so far, in a series The Macallan says will run to 24. The Archival Series revisits the distillery’s own advertising archive: the campaign that began in The Times on 27 March 1980, on the back page beside the crossword — small black-and-white advertisements in precise, witty prose, created by David Holmes and the copywriter Nick Salaman of Holmes Knight Ritchie, running into the early 1990s and taking the distillery’s name to a wider audience for the first time. Each folio takes one part of that story.
