Islay spirit distilled in 1983 — the last year Port Ellen ran before the stills went cold — and left in cask for 36 years before Hunter Laing bottled it in 2019 at natural strength. 638 bottles, in a presentation box. It is the first release in Hunter Laing's Eidolon series — in their words, "in ancient Greek literature an eidolon is a recollection of something memorable from history".
