Four whiskies released together by Suntory on 6 June 2024. Chief blender Shinji Fukuyo: "Tsukuriwake translates to 'artisanship through a diversity of making', which is truly what the 2024 Series represents with each of the four liquids included." Each bottle isolates one element of how Yamazaki and Hakushu are made.

Suntory's whisky begins with a wine merchant. Shinjiro Torii opened a shop in Osaka in his twenties and made his name with Akadama Port Wine in 1907, but whisky was the ambition, and in 1923 he began building Yamazaki outside Kyoto — Japan's first malt whisky distillery.
