A limited edition for Día de Muertos, released in 2020 in 2,000 bottles worldwide. A joven blending Clase Azul Plata, Reposado and Ultra. The decanter is painted bone white for the connection with the spiritual world and marked with skulls for the passage from mortal to mystical; marigolds are the flowers said to guide the dead home.
Clase Azul's tasting notes: oak, salted caramel, vanilla, white pepper, raisins and cloves; vanilla, oak and nutty toffee with crystallised ginger.

Producer profile
Clase Azul was founded in Guadalajara in 1997 by Arturo Lomelí, then a young bar owner. Its tequila is made at a single distillery in Jalisco, from Blue Weber agave grown in the red earth of Los Altos de Jalisco. The decanter is as much the point as the liquid.
