The Macallan Distil Your World: London Edition
Distil Your World began here: The Macallan and the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca setting out to translate a city into a single malt. London was the first city release, in 2020, its casks chosen by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner with the Roca brothers, and The Macallan describes its character as rare to find in the house’s single malts. A separate single cask was bottled for the London on-trade the same year.

Its character rests on a narrow set of choices held to over generations: curiously small stills, a notably narrow spirit cut, and sherry-seasoned oak the distillery controls closely
